Our 14 panels and workshops feature university professors, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, social activists, media experts, and more! Some of our panels include topics such as: - Open Source for the Public Sector and Enterprise Applications - Geographical Analogies: Is a Silicon Wadi Possible? - The State of Social Entrepreneurship in the WANA (West Asia/North Africa) Region - The Role of Universities and Public Sector Support as Innovation Drivers - How to Launch a Company in Weak/Challenging Economies Some of our speakers include Mr. Rabea Ataya, CEO of Bayt.com; Mr. Joi Ito, CEO of Creative Commons; and Mr. John Wilbanks, CEO of Science Commons, and many more. We’re also proud to host successful Lebanese and international startups, such as Yamli, Jeeran, Cedar Environmental, Wikeez, Foo-me, and more, as well as non-profit organizations focused on promoting social entrepreneurship and heightening social impact. There will be special sessions specifically to get you to meet the entrepreneurs and workshop about how to use the newest tools in promoting your company or organization.
